The Carrybridge RNLI volunteer crew were called out three times yesterday, Sunday, July 18 to attend to boats that had got into trouble on Lough Erne.
A RNLI spokesman said: "The first call-out was at 4.09pm to assess a vessel with two people on board which had run aground close to Knockninny.
“The crew checked the welfare of the casualties and the vessel’s condition and all were found to be safe and well. The vessel was refloated and able to continue its journey."
The second call-out came at 8.09pm to assess four people in a speedboat which had broken down near Inishrath Island.
"Again, a full assessment was carried out on the casualties, who were safe and well, and on their vessel, that had lost all drive.
“The boat was then towed with the owner’s permission to a safe marina," explained the RNLI spokesman.
The third call-out came at 11.56pm. The crew were asked to assess two people in a vessel which had broken down close to Bellanaleck.
Upon arrival at the scene, the lifeboat and Rescue Water Craft (RWC) crew carried out a full assessment of the two casualties, and found them to be safe and well.
"The vessel, however, had broken down in the navigation channel, and so with the owner’s permission they were towed to the nearest marina," added the RNLI spokesman.
