Granddad and grandson duo Paul Lyons and Charlie McNulty are taking another climb up Cuilcagh mountain.
The pair will tackle the Fermanagh landmark on Sunday, August 1. The pair will be supporting the Fermanagh branch of Friends of the Cancer Centre. The charity is very close to their heart as Paul explained: “I currently have two brothers with cancer, one who has just finished treatment and is doing well and another one who has just started treatment.”
The pair are hoping to beat last year’s target of over £1,300 which they raised by carrying buckets up the mountain. They are looking forward to the day and have had a lot of support and sponsorship up until now.
This will be the second year Paul and the Fermanagh branch of the Friends of the Cancer Centre will be unable to host their annual concert in the Killyhevlin Hotel which raised vital funds for the organisation.
Paul and Charlie are both looking forward to meeting people out and about on the day of their climb.
