A Fermanagh man who was unlawfully at large has handed himself in to the PSNI.
James Taggart (27) handed himself into the PSNI yesterday (Monday, July 26). He is subject to notification requirements as he is convicted of a sexual offence.
A widescale alert had been sent out last week regarding Taggart’s whereabouts. It is believed that he had been seen recently in Essex, but he was known to also have connections to the Fermanagh area.
Confirming the development, a PSNI spokesperson said: "Police can confirm that James Taggart, who was previously unlawfully at large, handed himself into a PSNI station on Monday.
“He has now been charged to appear at Omagh Magistrate's Court today [Tuesday, July 27].
“We would like to thank the public for their assistance in our appeal for information.”
