AN ENNISKILLEN bar has closed after a member of staff tested positive for Covid-19.
Charlie's Bar has closed as "a precautionary measure" and management is encouraging all staff to get tested.
A statement from Una Burns, manager of Charlie's, said: "A staff member tested positive for Covid-19. We are following all guidance provided by the Public Health Agency.
"The health and safety of staff and customers is our priority. Management decided to close the premises as a precautionary measure.
"We have encouraged all our staff to get tested. Anyone without a negative test will be required to self-isolate for ten days before returning to work."
Una continued: "The person in question was wearing a mask at all times when serving customers and followed the increased cleaning routines which were in place.
"Track and Trace details have been provided to the Public Health Agency. We apologise to anyone who has been inconvenienced by our closure.
"We are looking forward to re-opening again, but will only do so when we feel it is fully safe for both our staff and customers."
