TRANSLINK are conducting an investigation after a bus engine caught fire on Tuesday morning, with emergency services quickly on the scene.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police received a report of a bus on fire at 7.52am on the Swanlinbar Road on Tuesday, July 27.
"Officers directed traffic whilst the fire was dealt with by fire service personnel, wholeft the scene at 8.32am."
A Translink spokesperson said:“At approximately 7.45am on Tuesday morning , the driver of Ulsterbus service 192, Enniskillen to Swanlinbar, noticed smoke from the engine bay.
“He immediately implemented emergency procedures and safely stopped the bus. There were no passengers on board at the time, and no injuries.
“An investigation into the incident is underway.”
