AN ENNISKILLEN man has appeared in court on a charge of intimidating a witness in the knowledge she was assisting in a criminal investigation.

Brian Francis Paul Corrigan (37), from Derrylin Road, Enniskillen, is accused of making a threatening phone call to the witness on June 16 which intimidated her, thereby intending the course of the investigation to be obstructed or interfered with.

An officer familiar with the facts of the cases told Enniskillen Magistrates Court on Monday the charges could be connected.

Deputy District Judge Greg McCourt ordered the case to be mentioned again on August 23.
