‘THE Three Amigos’ – featuring Country music stars, Jimmy Buckley, Robert Mizzell and Patrick Feeney – have released a brand-new single.
The song, ‘Movin’ on’, has been released to coincide with the launch of their nationwide drive-in tour which will take place over August and into early September.
While the trio have already sampled fame in the Country music arena, recent history has shown that variety, versatility and indeed humour are very much the key components of their collective stage show.
The music-sphere may have been barren, of late, but if anything, this has made these three troubadours now even keener to stamp their indelible imprint on it in no uncertain manner.
Jimmy said: “Many people have been deprived of the opportunity to enjoy live entertainment in any form for quite a number of months, and now we certainly want to offer what we consider to be a very special show which will rekindle particular memories for everyone.”
Country material may underpin the show, but a ration of ballads, Rock’n’Roll, Sixties hits and standards will ensure that even the most demanding tastebuds are catered for.
Few singers can match Patrick when it comes to big ballads, while Robert Mizzell’s brand of Country and upbeat material puts him in a class of his own.
“Our aim will be to try and give people a lift after all that they have been through.
“We will be putting a huge effort into this drive-in show and it is our sincere hope that it will find favour with concertgoers,” says the recently-engaged Patrick.
Robert added: “We like to think that over the years we have established a very special concert brand, but you can be sure that we will never err on the side of complacency.
“We are already working on fresh ideas and some innovations in the hope of providing the very best for concertgoers, even if they are watching and enjoying from their cars.”
This tour will be the first The Three Amigos event in nearly 18 months and the guys are thrilled to be back where they belong – onstage, performing live.
The Three Amigos Drive-in show will take place across Ireland, with the show rolling into Mullahoran GFC Kilcogy, Co. Cavan on Saturday, August 21.
