The Impartial Reporter understands that Ryan McMenamin has stepped down as Fermanagh manager after two years in charge.
McMenamin served two years as assistant manager under Rory Gallagher before taking over the reigns but his two years at the helm were severely disjointed due to Covid-19.
Fermanagh were relegated to Division Three in 2020 before making their Ulster Championship exit at the hands of Down.
This year the Ernemen were close to bouncing straight back up in the league, losing a promotion play-off to Offaly.
Defeat to Monaghan in the Ulster Championship then brought their season to an end.
McMenamin informed the County Board and players of his decision last night.
A statement released by the County Board today, Friday read: "
“We have been notified last night by Ryan McMenamin that he is stepping down from the position of Fermanagh Senior Football Team Manager.
“Fermanagh County Committee would like to thank Ryan and his entire backroom team for all their hard work and commitment over the last two years.
“We wish Ryan and all members of his backroom team every success for the future.”
