MORE than 1,000 people of all ages spent three hours enjoying fun and games at the Bawnacre Leisure in Irvinestown to end the summer play scheme.
The gala day organised by Fermanagh District Council’s Leisure Department and the Youth Department of the Western Education and Library Board was a huge success, with children being bussed to the events in Irvinestown from all across the county.
The afternoon was filled with outdoor and indoor games and activities. Activities included an open air disco in the car park, and a disco dancing competition.
There was also a bouncy castle for the younger children, side shows and competitions including face painting, ring throwing and ping pong. Magician Paul Gomac kept the tiny tots entertained along with Bubbles the Bawnacre Bear.
