FERMANAGH Film Club is delighted to host its first in-person screening in more than a year at its new venue of the Ardhowen Theatre, Enniskillen in early September.
The club is starting its autumn programme on Wednesday, September 8 with the multiple Oscar-winning Nomadland, directed by Chloé Zhao and starring Frances McDormand.
Nomadland tells the tale of a woman in her sixties, who, after losing everything in the Great Recession, embarks on a journey through the American West, living as a van-dwelling modern-day nomad.
Tickets for this screening will be available from the Ardhowen Theatre.
The object of Fermanagh Film Club is to promote the access and enjoyment of Art House, foreign language and films of quality not normally available on the commercial circuit. The club also shows ‘special interest’ films that may be relevant or have a particular interest for members.
Throughout the pandemic, the club continued to provide film viewings via virtual screenings.
