A WOMAN from Tempo who spends her time showing love and kindness to others has been nominated for a top caring accolade.
Mrs. Madeleine Noble. from Manor View, in the village, who works as home help for eight people in her area, was last week selected as the Northern Ireland representative in the 1991 Tunstall Telecom National Caring Award. She now goes on to the final in London.
The award is made in “recognition of acts of kindness, care and compassion or for the long dedicated service to elderly or disabled people”.
Madeleine said it all came as a surprise to have been chosen as the Northern Ireland representative in the final, adding that she loves the works she does and treats all those she visits as friends.
