A MEMORIAL tractor run will be held this weekend in Kinawley in memory of the much-loved Margaret Greene.
The Greene family – Niall, Filicia, Petrina and Terry – are organising the tractor run on Sunday, August 29, in memory of their mother, Margaret, who passed away on May 13.
All proceeds from the tractor run will be donated towards Northern Ireland Hospice.
The tractor run will start and finish at Kinawley Community Hall. Registration will take place from 12.30pm, with the tractor run leaving at 2pm sharp.
Further route details can be viewed on Facebook at https://tinyurl.com/745rrt2t.
Margaret’s family said: “This charity was a great help to mammy in the weeks and days leading up to her passing. Mammy was diagnosed with a very rare heart condition, Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, in June, 2019.
"So now, we would like to give a little something back for all of Northern Ireland Hospice's dedication and support, not only for Margaret, but to the family as well.”
All participants are asked to obey by the current Covid-19 regulations, to help ensure a safe and enjoyable event for all.
For anyone who wishes to donate on the day, there will be a donation point on site at the hall. Anyone unable to attend but who may wish to donate can do by donating on the JustGiving page at http://www.justgiving.com/remember/881801/Margaret-Greene.
The Greene family look forward to seeing everyone on the day, and are very grateful to everyone who has donated so far.
