Ballinamallard United have moved to strengthen their squad before the transfer window closes with manager Harry McConkey signing goalkeeper Rory Brown from Glentoran on a one year loan.
The 21 year old has had spells with Wolves and Institute before moving a year ago to Glentoran, where he had played a significant role in the East Belfast chase in the Premiership.
Manager Harry McConkey said: “I’m delighted to bring such a bright young goalkeeping talent to Ferney Park. Although Rory is yet only 21 he comes with a wealth of experience.
“We thank Glentoran for their facilitation of the move and all welcome Rory to Ferney and trust that he will settle in and enjoy his time with us.”
Rory said: “I would just like to thank Ballinamallard United FC for giving me the chance to play this season. Although there was plenty of interest from clubs in the Premiership, I spoke to Harry a few times and it was an easy decision to make to sign here.
“Hopefully we can have a good crack at the competitions this season and finish in a high and positive position in the league.”
