Police in Fermanagh are appealing for information regarding a speeding vehicle in the Boa Island and Pettigo Road areas yesterday afternoon (Wednesday, September 8).

A PSNI spokesman said: "Erne North Neighbourhood Team are asking for help from members of the public. Anyone who may have seen a silver VW Golf driving dangerously along the Boa Island and Pettigo Road areas [on Wednesday] about 2.40pm is asked to get in touch.

"This vehicle caused considerable distress to several motorists as it nearly caused a serious collision as a result of its speed.

"Anyone with dashcam footage, or any information that could help with our enquiries, please ring 101 and quote incident 1184."
