JAMES Peake has been performing on the music scene for more than 30 years, entertaining audiences locally and around the world until the beginning of March, 2020, when Covid-19 really hit.
This meant James could no longer perform at venues across the country, but with high demand from his friends, family and followers, James began live-streaming every Thursday alongside his two daughters, Katie and Lucy, and his wife, Catherine, taking requests behind the scenes.
He didn’t think these Thursday nights would last a month, but they still continue to this day, even as venues for live music have now reopened.
During the pandemic, James had promised he would plan something big for when the time was right. Along with his fellow livestream acts, he has put a ‘Weekend of Comedy and Music’ together at Mahon’s Hotel, Irvinestown in the Delaney Music Hall.
The upcoming weekend of entertainment will feature James Peake with Katie and Lucy, the hilarious May McFettridge, John Rafferty, Pinky and Perky, Hugo Duncan and The Currans.
This will take place on Friday, October 22 and Saturday, October 23, with tickets available at Reception in Mahon’s Hotel, Irvinestown.
