Fermanagh-based Country music star Nathan Carter is celebrating the return of live music by releasing a new single.
'Rambling Rover' is an Irish Folk song, originally written by Andrew Stewart. With his latest single release, Nathan has taken the well-known song and given it his own unique treatment. A catchy track, with clever lyrics and a cantering tune, it’s one you can’t help but tap along to.
Over the last few weeks, the singer was in the studio, putting finishing touches to the single which was released on Saturday, September 11.
“We had a lot of fun making this one. The melody is great and it’s got a really precise, upbeat rhythm," said Nathan, adding: "But as well as that, the lyrics are so sharp, really witty and clever, which made it a lot of fun to record.
"I hope we’ll have as much fun singing it at lots of gigs over the next few months too.”
Like entertainers across the world, Nathan is gearing up for a string of live performances again and he’s clearly looking forward to it: “It’s fantastic to be back and I’m incredibly excited to get out gigging again. I’ve missed absolutely everything about live shows and I know that music fans are really looking forward to it too."
He went on to comment: "The good news is, we’ve had lots of time to practise, find new material and put some great ideas together, so it’s looking good for some amazing gigs ahead.”
Rambling Rover is a new single from Nathan’s forthcoming studio album, which will be released for the Christmas market.
