A WOMAN has been fined for driving a vehicle with a defective tyre.
Tara Feeley (26), of Cleenish Park, Enniskillen, was stopped by police on the Lisnaskea Road, Derrylin on July 16 whilst driving an Audi A4.
When stopped, police noticed the rear offside tyre had canvas visible. Feeley told the officers that she had driven from Enniskillen to Derrylin to get the tyre replaced and she knew it was defective.
Ciaran Roddy, Feeley's barrister, told the court she had made an attempt to change the tyre, but the garage did not have that type of tyre.
He added that it was quickly corrected after being stopped by police.
Feeley was fined £100 and given three penalty points by District Judge Steven Keown.
