Derrygonnelly attacker Conall Jones praised the impact of their bench as the Harps eventually saw off Ederney after extra time in their replayed SFC Quarter Final at Brewster Park tonight.
Derrygonnelly had enjoyed the better of the first half to go in 0-07 to 0-03 up and they then led 0-09 to 0-05. But with the wind at their back Ederney rattled off four points on the bounce to send the game to extra time.
However, goals from Lee Jones and Gary McKenna in extra time sent the Harps through to a semi-final encounter against Kinawley next Saturday.
