A catering lecturer at Fermanagh College of Further Education, Mrs. Marian Campbell, has been awarded exceptional marks herself in a UK food hygiene competition.
Marian received the runner up certificate and a cheque for £100, from Edwina Currie MP after being successful in the national final of the Leverclean Award 1991.
When asked about her success in the competition, Mrs. Campbell replied that she had even been surprise at becoming the Northern Ireland winner.
Her achievement meant an ell expenses paid trip at the luxurious Langham Hilton in Portland Place.
Although competing in the final was "hard work", Mrs. Campbell, who had to complete written assessments, said it was very worthwhile.
