A child was airlifted from the scene of a road traffic collision on Friday, January 28, and taken to the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.
Police received a report of a one vehicle road traffic collision in the Dernawilt Road area of Rosslea shortly before 1.45pm last Friday.
Officers attended along with Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) personnel and Air Ambulance NI.
A NIAS spokesperson said: "NIAS despatched two Emergency crews, one Rapid Response and the Charity Air Ambulance with HEMS on board were also tasked to the incident.
"Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one patient was taken to Royal Victoria Belfast for Sick Children by Charity Air Ambulance."
Police have appealed for anyone with information, or who may have dashcam footage is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 929 of 28/1/22.
The road was closed for a time on Friday but reopened later that day.
