A highly regarded and well-known business figure was laid to rest last week.

Johnston 'Ivan' Henry, was a well-known businessman in both the retail sector and property business sector having own .

Mr. Henry died on Friday, February 4 and was laid to rest on Tuesday, February 8.

A large crowd on mourners gathered to pay their respect to Mr. Henry as his funeral journeyed from his home in Lisbellaw, through the village main street and onwards to his funeral which took place at Maguiresbridge Parish Church. Mr. Henry was buried in the adjoining church yard after his funeral service.

He is survived by his wife, Jean, his children Cheryl (Alan), Stephen (Helen) and Titto, his siblings Betty and Freddie, and his wider family circle.
