Fermanagh is the home of many Lithuanian natives, and on Friday, February 18, Mahon’s Hotel in Irvinestown is welcoming Lithuanian natives, relations and people who have a keen interest in immersing themselves in new cultures to an evening of wonderful food cooked by Head Chef Alex, who was a resident of Lithuania for 19 years.
He has lived in Ireland for 20 years and is more than excited to bring to the hotel a flavour of his home country.
Alex will be joined by another Lithuanian native who has worked as a Sous Chef in Mahon’s Hotel for more than two years. Rasa has been an invaluable member of staff and has been won over by Joe’s charm and, of course, his singing.
International cuisine
The expertise of both chefs is sure to mean some well-executed and delivered food. This is the first international cuisine night in the hotel; one which will hopefully lead to many more.
Not only will there be some fantastic well-known Lithuanian dishes on offer, but there will also be great Lithuanian music and entertainment by Donatas Odinas. You never know – Donatas could show Joe a thing or two about Lithuanian culture, and he could well and truly win over Rasa.
Spaces are limited and everyone is welcome, so book now to avoid disappointment by calling 0286 862 1656.
