A man has been fined at Enniskillen Magistrates Court after he was convicted of improper use of communications.
The charges relate to an incident between June 18 and July 27, 2021.
The court heard on Wednesday that on June 20, 2021, police attended Sallys Wood, Irvinestown following a report of criminal damage to a car which was scraped.
They spoke with the defendant, David William Dawson McCleery (36), of Sallys Wood, who told them he had an ongoing issue with his partner's brother.
On July 9, the defendant made a complaint about messages that were sent to him, and police also spoke to his mother about messages on Facebook and these were shown to police.
Another party also gave an account of messages they had received from the defendant which were unwanted.
They said McCleery had posted pictures on Facebook and called the injured party various names and insulted them.
Aaron Gallagher, barrister for McCleery, said his client recognised the foolishness of the post.
He added McCleery's criminal record had no similar offences, and he asked the court to give him credit for his early plea.
District Judge Steven Keown fined McCleery £200.
