THE latest data from the Department of Health released yesterday, Wednesday, February 23 has recorded one further coronavirus related death in the Fermanagh and Omagh District in past seven days, bringing the Council area’s Covid-19 death toll to 144 deaths
Data from the Department of Health shows that the South West Acute Hospital(SWAH’s) bed capacity stands at 108.72 per cent. There are 19 Covid-19 cases in the SWAH with no Covid-19 ICU patients.
Locally, the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area recorded 149 new Covid-19 cases within the past 24 hours, bringing the total amount of cases locally to 36,317 people.
From February 16 to February 22 , there were 415 positive Covid-19 cases recorded in the area’s postal districts, with the BT74 area recording 97 cases; BT92 seeing 119 ; BT93 seeing 74 ; and BT94 seeing 125 .
The seven-day positive cases rate per 100,000 people in the Council area was 744 , which equates to 634 positive cases.
