The Inside Outside Youth Festival is returning to the streets and screens of Fermanagh from March 21 to 31 and are calling out for young people to get involved.
Established by Dylan Quinn Dance Theatre in 2020 the festival provides a platform for local young people to share their creative ideas, talent and the burning issues that are important to them.
"If you are under 21 years of age with a creative talent, an idea you want to explore, an issue you want to highlight or a discussion you want to instigate then get in contact. You don’t have to have a full formed plan just a desire and willingness to do something creative and we will help you present it," said Dylan Quinn.
This year the team behind the festival plan to generate some creative chaos by presenting a range of short pop up events, experiences and performances in person and online. Not only will there be events to watch but also activities to participate in, including engagement experiences and workshops to encourage new thinking and creative explorations.
The inaugural Inside Outside Youth Festival, which took place in November 2020, was a huge success due to the input of the Creative Youth Panel, who helped shape and promote the programme of events. We plan to make the 2022 festival even more inventive and to do this we need new members for the Creative Youth Panel! So if you are a young creative leader interested in helping to curate the festival events then get in touch with us and share your passion for the arts and creativity, whilst gaining skills and experience in designing and producing a festival programme.
"From music to movement, discussions to design we want to help you share your ideas and your talent. No matter how big or small your idea get in touch," said Dylan.
