A £5million investment into an Enniskillen business site has resulted in a new 16,000 square foot building.
Pilgrim’s Food Masters’ £5 million investment into their Carran Business Park site in Enniskillen is well under way with the addition of a new 16,000 square foot building to house new innovative high speed production lines and build capacity for future growth.
Formerly part of the Kerry Group, the site has been producing high quality products in Enniskillen for just over 20 years and has seen sustained growth over this period. The site was acquired by Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation in late 2021, making it part of one of the largest food companies in the world. It now operates under the new name of Pilgrim’s Food Masters.
The Enniskillen site produces market leading brands including Fridge Raiders, Richmond, Denny and Rollover. All the products produced in Pilgrim’s Food Masters Enniskillen are available locally as well as across the breadth of UK and Ireland.
Currently providing employment to around 300 people, the business is keen to attract more talented people to join across a variety of roles.
General Manager, Barney McAuley stated: “Our vision is to become the best and most respected company in our industry, creating the opportunity of a better future for our team members. This investment demonstrates the confidence the business has in our Enniskillen site, our products, and most importantly our people. It will enable us to grow in a responsible and sustainable way to meet current and future demand.”
Lynsey Orr, HR Business Partner said “Our people are key to our success. In addition to the investment into production, we are building on the resources available to support our colleagues. We want to ensure we have a skilled, healthy, engaged, and effective workforce where all our colleagues to have a great employment experience and can realise their career ambitions. We are committed to becoming the employer of choice in the local area and making a positive impact on our local community.”
