A DENTIST and an optician have got together to arrange a charity ball next Saturday evening.
The event in aid of Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer Research, and Combat Cancer is being organised by Julie Brady (left) from Enniskillen, and Annamaree Welsh (right).
The event, to be held in the Killyhevlin Hotel, is hoped to raise £2,000 during the evening when dress will be formal.
Annamaree explained that she and Julie decided at Christmas to organise an event to raise money for charity, while at the same time “having a bit of fun”.
She said that M.S. had been chosen as one of the charities because Fermanagh has one of the highest rates of M.S. in Britain.
“We wanted to involve charities where the money would be spent in the province,” she added.
