THE grounds of Jones Memorial Primary School in Enniskillen were recently transformed into a magical Wonderland as the school hosted a fantastical Alice in Wonderland Trail, raising more than £1,100 for the Northern Ireland (NI) Hospice in the process.
On Saturday, April 2, guests were greeted by Alice at the beginning of the trail, just before she fell down the rabbit hole into the weird and wonderful Wonderland.

Following Alice on her whimsical journey, guests met a variety of colourful characters along the trail. They were welcomed by the Mad Hatter as he prepared for a tea party with a difference; and followed the White Rabbit – who is always late; and they appeased the Queen of Hearts, with thankfully all leaving with their heads. There was plenty to see and do, with face painting, croquet playing, art and craft.
Sandra Isherwood, Principal of Jones Memorial PS, praised the success of the trail. She said: “We are delighted to report that £1,122.88 was raised for the NI Hospice.
