THERE was a return to business as usual at the weekend when the popular annual Daffodil and Spring Flower Show and Plant Sale returned after a period of absence.
The 54th such annual show – that took place last Saturday – was the first such show since early 2019 as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The show took place in the Exhibition Hall at the Ulster Farmer’s Mart, Enniskillen last Saturday afternoon.
As always, the popular event attracted daffodil growers and floral exhibitors from near and far, keen to see and exhibit their plants.
In addition to the ever-popular plant stall and afternoon tea for those attending, there were also a series of new awards introduced, including a new award for first-time exhibitors, a new School Garden award, and a new School Art award for a picture of spring flowers executed in any medium.
There were extensive winners in a range of sections (see panel, right).
