In the upcoming weeks, artists from near and far will perform at the Ardhowen Theatre in Enniskillen, providing a varied programme of music, comedy and drama.
Multi-talented musician Paul Kelly from Pettigo will be joined with friends Trudi Lalor, Chris Logue, Karl Kirkpatrick, Bernie Kelly and Paul McManus, Vincie Carr and Gary Wilson for a concert that promises to be a great night of music and entertainment on Thursday, April at 8pm.

Later on in the week, on Saturday, April 30, Co. Monaghan Blues artist Gráinne Duffy will return to the Ardhowen Gallery Bar for an evening of soulful tunes at 9pm. She will be accompanied on the night by Paul McSherry.
Coming up on Thursday, May 5 at 8pm, the Ardhowen will welcome acclaimed South Korean-born concert pianist Young-Choon Park.
Young-Choon began the study of the piano at the age of four and gave her first full recital when she was seven.
The young child prodigy studied at the Juilliard School in New York and later gained the highest Master’s degree at the Hochschule in Munich.
Young-Choon has toured extensively, giving more than 50 concerts each year in Europe, Scandinavia, South Africa and the United States.
She makes many return visits to major concert venues including the Birmingham Symphony Hall, St. David’s Hall in Cardiff, Belfast Waterfront Hall, Alice Tully Hall and Lincoln Centre in New York, de Doelen in Rotterdam, Frits Philips Saal in Eindhoven, Athenaeum Hall in Bucharest, Tivoli Koncertsalen in Copenhagen, Gasteig in Munich, Musikverein in Vienna and the Troldhaugen in Bergen.

The programme on Thursday, May 5 will include works by composers such as Schubert – Sonata No.19 In C Minor; Beethoven – Sonata No.8 In C Minor Op.13, ‘Sonata Pathétique’; and Beethoven – Sonata No.14 In C Sharp Minor Op.27 No.2 – ‘Moonlight’.
Steinway Grand Piano
The Ardhowen is grateful to the Arts Council of Northern Ireland for the loan of the Steinway Grand Piano for this event.
To comedy next, and Donegal comedian Conal Gallen is ‘Back For The Craic’, returning to the theatre on Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7 at 8pm. Taking to the Ardhowen stage, Conal promises to bring a night filled with laughter, craic and song.
For some family fun, young kids will thrill at the adventures on Old MacDonald’s Farm with fun, songs and excitement on Sunday, May 8 at 3pm. With an original script and brand-new songs written for this production, along with many singalong favourites, this professionally produced show by Dreamworld Promotions is sure to delight younger children aged one to seven years old.
In mid-May, ‘The Summer Country Show’ returns for another night of toe-tapping Country magic featuring an array of talent on Wednesday, May 11 at 8pm, including the likes of John McNicholl, Gary Gamble and Kenny Archer, to list but a few of the talented names set to perform along with the Keltic Storm band.

Away from music, and craft-minded kids will look forward to mono-printmaking for youngsters, aged 11 to 15 years old, on Saturday, April 30, at 2pm, while in another activity for curious kids, Genevieve Murphy will lead an Upcycled Bird Feeder Workshop for kids aged eight to 10 years on Saturday, May 7 at 2pm.
Last but not least, Patricia Kelly soon begins another six-week Iyengar Yoga class, starting on Thursday, May 5 at 9.30am, offering participants greater flexibility and strength, and better physical and mental health.
