Due to an "unexpected staff shortage", the Neonatal Unit at the South West Acute Hospital (SWAH) in Enniskillen was closed yesterday daytime (Saturday, April 30).
Speaking to The Impartial Reporter, a spokesperson for the Western Health and Social Care Trust said: “The Neonatal Unit at the South West Acute Hospital (SWAH), Enniskillen was closed during the daytime on Saturday, April 30 due to an unexpected staff shortage."

The Neonatal Unit reopened on Saturday evening, and is "operational again", the Trust spokeswoman told this newspaper.
"Contingency plans have remained in place throughout this period," she said.
