The 2022 Northern Ireland Assembly election is finally here.
You can cast your vote today (Thursday, May 5) at your polling station between 7am and 10pm and use your vote to select the five new MLAs for Fermanagh South Tyrone in what could well be an historic election, if polls are to be believed.
Counting will begin on Friday morning at 8am and The Impartial Reporter will be there for you.
Our reporters – Ciarán Flaherty and Victoria Johnston – will be reporting with live-blog coverage from the count centre at the Meadowbank Sports Arena, Magherafelt.

In addition, photographer John McVitty will be behind his lens capturing all of the drama of the day; whether it be a candidate’s elation at winning a seat, or the devastation of being eliminated.
No matter who you vote for or whatever politics you back, you can follow all of the events from the election on our special election live blog which will be updated regularly with reports and pictures.
So make sure you are following all of our social media channels to hear the latest from the count centre.
