Enniskillen
Dear Eva,
I presume you see by the paper that about the state of Skintown (Enniskillen) is in just now. But there is one good thing, Eva, that they cannot put us out of the Black North.
The Shinners will put them down into hell yet. You see that we have the rest of old Ireland free, so please God we will have the North too.
I expect you seen about the raid on ---’s house. The only thing we are sorry for that they did not blow b--- h--- ---- to blazes.
Even the girls in Enniskillen are so black, they would hardly bid any of us the time of day.
Tell Katie that I have a rare time here, singing at Sinn Féin meetings. Up Dublin every time.
Dear Eva, you all will have a free country to come home to in the summer, with God’s help.
Now for dancing, Eva, we are dancing made. I am having a photo taken in my ball frock, so I will send you one.
You will see I am in Mrs. ---’s again. And am having a rare good time. Take my tip and never get spliced.
Your Irish friend ------.
A nice production!
No self-respecting Sinn Féiner would write such stuff.
And the writer of the above and her family have been reared on government money, and make their living off Loyalists!
Yet she says their benefactors will “be put down to hell yet”.
The original has been placed in the hands of the police, as it contains interesting information.
