A man has been arrested and remains in custody following a crash on a busy road in Enniskillen.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Shortly before 3.30am yesterday (Sunday), May 22, police received a report of a one vehicle road traffic collision in the Sligo Road area of Enniskillen.
"It was reported that a car had collided with a lamppost and a traffic island. There were no reports of any injuries.
Explaining details of the arrest, a PSNI spokesperson continued: "One male in his 60s was subsequently arrested on suspicion of a number of related offences, including failing stop at, remain at and report an accident, and driving whilst unfit. He remains in police custody at this time, helping with enquiries."
Appealing for anyone with information to come forward, a PSNI spokesperson added: "Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time, or may have any dash cam or mobile phone footage which could assist with enquiries, to get in touch via the non-emergency number 101, and quote reference number 363 of 22/05/22.
