A suspect has been arrested after the PSNI District Support Team in Fermanagh seized a firearm and suspected Class-A, -B and -C drugs following the search of a property in Irvinestown this weekend.
Commenting on the incident, a PSNI spokesperson said: "Your District Support Team are out and about in Fermanagh this weekend.
"So far, we have carried out a premises search in the Irvinestown area under warrant.
"As a result, a firearm was seized along with suspected Class-A, -B and -C drugs.
"A suspect was arrested for numerous offences and will have a few questions to answer."
This afternoon (Saturday, May 28), the District Support Team also had the assistance of PD (Police Dog) Carlo in patrolling and targeting some local drug hotspot areas in Enniskillen.
No suspected crime was reported by the PSNI following these patrols.
