Grateful for all the support given to her by The Buddy Bear Trust Conductive Education School , Michelle Cowan embarked on the challenge of running the distance of a marathon over nine sessions on an anti-gravity treadmill at the Return to Play Sports Medicine Facility in Derrygonnelly.
Speaking about her decision to The Impartial Reporter, Michelle said: “One of my carers is from Derrygonnelly and she told me about the Anti-Gravity Treadmill so I went out and had a go on it and on the first night I thought this was brilliant. On the first time on it, I decided I was going to run the marathon for Buddy Bear and over nine session I ran the distance of a marathon and raised £1,212.80.”
