Fermanagh Country singer Malcolm McDowell has just released a fantastic brand new single entitled 'I will stand by you'.
The new single is a song about a devoted older couple who never had much throughout their life apart from the mutual love for each other.
Talking about the song, Malcolm said: "The first time I heard the song I instantly thought of my own parents. It reminded me of all the challenges they've had to face in their life together, but how they always seem to get the strength to keep positive and deal with any difficult problems head on.
"And also how they adore and depend on each other. So I'm dedicating the song to my mum and dad who both turn 75 this year. My mum who was 75 on May 1 and my dad now on July 4."
It's been a busy year for the Brookeborough performer, who is also a respected freelance entertainment journalist and independent industry advisor, as he once again organised and hosted the annual Northern Ireland Country Music Awards, which is voted by the public.
'I Will Stand By You' is available to request on all radio stations nationwide and also on YouTube.
Watch out for Malcolm and his camera crew in the coming weeks as he'll be out and about filming the music video for the new song. More new music is also on the way from the Country singer, who has recently been in the studio recording material for his forthcoming album.
