A man has been convicted of disorderly behaviour following an incident with police in Enniskillen.
A mobile police patrol was in the Coleshill Park area of Enniskillen on February 6, 2022, when they observed a male sitting in a car.
As they were passing the male, Dylan Lee Taggart (23), of Coleshill Park, Enniskillen made an obscene gesture at the police.
Police went to talk to Taggart about his behaviour and he began shouting and swearing at them before being arrested.
Taggart's barrister, Ciaran Roddy, told Enniskillen Magistrates Court his client was the "architect of his own misfortune" in which he gets involved in a dispute and the natural end is that he ends up before the court and is prosecuted.
He said there have been similar events which have resulted in Taggart being arrested or reported.
Mr. Roddy also added that Taggart is developing quite a record for public order offences.
District Judge Steven Keown warned Taggart that if this offending continued he would end up in custody.
Taggart was also in breach of a probation order following a conviction for an unrelated matter on January 17, 2022, which was revoked by Judge Keown.
For both cases, Taggart was ordered to complete 100 hours of community service.
