Due to staffing pressures at the South West Acute Hospital's (SWAH) Emergency Department (ED) this morning (Monday, July 18), the Western Health and Social Care Trust is urging anyone with an "urgent but non-emergency medical condition" to consider attending the Urgent Care and Treatment Centre at Omagh Hospital instead.
A spokesperson said: "The SWAH ED is facing challenges this morning due to staffing pressures, and with 27 patients awaiting admission.
"We are urging anyone with an urgent but non-emergency medical condition, to please consider attending our Urgent Care and Treatment Centre, Omagh Hospital."
