An Enniskillen-based beautician and make-up artist says she is “delighted” to have won the award for Beauty Salon of the Year: County Fermanagh at the recent Northern Ireland Hair and Beauty Awards.

Helena Wilkins, owner of H.E.R. Beauty in Enniskillen, was announced as the winner of the award during the ceremony, which was held on Sunday, June 12 at the Europa Hotel, Belfast.

Speaking following the awards ceremony, Helena said: “[I’m] absolutely delighted to receive this award; it means the absolute world to me, especially after the last couple of years we have had.”

Addressing her clients, she added: “I cannot thank you enough, all my clients – you are amazing, and I wouldn’t have won this without your support.

“I appreciate every single one of you that walk through the doors of H.E.R. Beauty. You have made it possible, and made my little dream come true.”

The Northern Ireland Hair and Beauty Awards 2022 acknowledged the best hair and beauty specialists that Northern Ireland has to offer.

The star-studded evening was hosted by Rebecca McKinney, who presented the winners, as voted for by the public, and congratulated them for being at the forefront of the industry.
