A LARGE crowd of onlookers gathered in Irvinestown to pay their final respects to the late William Bradburn, as a horse-drawn carriage carried the beloved community figure to his final resting place on Wednesday afternoon (July 20).
The horse-drawn carriage was the final wish of the well-known figure, who owned and worked with horses all of his life.
Mr. Bradburn – late of Lettermoney Road, Whitehill, Ballinamallard – passed away peacefully on Monday, July 18 at the South West Acute Hospital in Enniskillen.
Following his funeral service in Irvinestown Presbyterian Church, Mr. Bradburn’s cortège, featuring a horse-drawn carriage, travelled through Irvinestown into the Fermanagh countryside, and on to Sydare Cemetery, where a large crowd of mourners awaited.
Funeral arrangements were conducted by W. T. Morrison Funeral Directors.
