A man who came out of a house swinging an almost empty bottle of vodka has been convicted of disorderly behaviour.
On October 3, 2020 police were called to an address in Irvinestown following the report of an incident.
During this, Kieran Jack Quinn (22), of Sallys Wood, Irvinestown, came out of a house roaring and swinging around the vodka bottle and also lunging towards police, Enniskillen Magistrates Court heard on Monday.
Michelle McVeigh, representing Quinn, said the incident was a case of when the "drink's in, the wits were out".
She pointed out there had been no offending in the intervening period, and Quinn was trying to put stability into his life.
District Judge Steven Keown handed Quinn a three-month prison sentence, suspended for 18 months, and warned him if he was not on the path to improving his life, he would end up in prison.
