An Enniskillen man is to stand trial on a charge of perverting the course of justice after allegedly falsely claiming to have been raped.
Pearse Crudden (38), from Drumbawn Close, is accused of intending to pervert the course of justice by making the false allegation on February 11, 2018.
He appeared at Dungannon Crown Court, pleading not guilty to the charge.
The person he is accused of making the false claim against is not identified within the charge, and no details surrounding the circumstances of the case were disclosed.
Judge Brian Sherrard QC remanded Crudden on continuing bail of £500 to return to court next month when a trial date is to be fixed.
