The annual sale of breeding sheep took place at the Ulster Farmers' Mart, Enniskillen on Monday past.
There was an entry of over 2000 head with hogget ewes selling from £130 to £235 for two pens of good Suffolk Cheviot crosses. Ewe lambs sold from £75 to £140 for Texels.
Older ewes made from £90 to £170 for two and three year olds.
Pedigree Texel shearling rams sold from 350gns to top sale price of 700gns.
First cross Charollais/Texel shearlings made from 350gns to 550gns, and Belclare/Charollais breeds sold up to to 540gns.
Dutch Spotted shearlings made up to 360gns and ram lambs to 340gns.
Pedigree Suffolks sold to 440gns for a ram lamb with a range of other breeds selling from 150gns to 300gns.
The sale was well attended and resulted in almost a full clearance in both ewes and rams.
