Fermanagh Lakeland Tourism has been announced as a finalist for ‘Best Use of Social Media in Hospitality/Tourism over 10k (10,000 followers)’ in the 2022 Northern Ireland Social Media Awards, in partnership with the Corner Bakery.
The local tourism organisation was shortlisted after more than 300 entries were received from a broad range of industries including tourism, education, healthcare, retail and fitness.
Speaking on behalf of Fermanagh Lakeland Tourism, Tanya Cathcart said: “The continued growth and engagement on our social media platforms is a testament to the hard work that is put in on a daily basis by the team.
“It is absolutely fantastic to receive recognition from the Northern Ireland Social Media Awards for these efforts. I would like to thank my team for the continued hard work and dedication that goes in to promoting Fermanagh as a top-class tourism destination.”
The Northern Ireland Social Media Awards honours and recognises freelancers, individuals, teams, agencies and businesses delivering social media marketing and demonstrating excellence in their work.
The awards are judged by an independent awards jury, comprising leaders in the social media marketing industry throughout the world. The winners will be announced at an awards dinner at the Europa Hotel, Belfast on Saturday, October 1.
