The Erne Model Railway Club (EMRC) are in the midst of making preparations for their exhibition which returns this year after a two-year absence due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The club – which meet twice monthly at 64 Main Street, Brookeborough, under Chairman Robert Coalter – are thrilled to be showcasing their exhibition at St. Macartin’s Cathedral, Enniskillen.

Detailing what the public can expect, a spokesperson for the club said: “The club are looking forward to a good response from the public. There will be displays, and exhibits from all parts of Ireland – from Belfast to as far away as Wexford, and also a selection of trade stands.
“All in all, it promises to be an exciting day out for all members of the community – male and female, young and not so young!”
The EMRC has welcomed several new members over the past couple of years, and all have been working enthusiastically to make the exhibition a memorable day for all who visit. All exhibitors and traders will receive a small memorial plaque kindly sponsored by Coalter’s Home and Hardware, Irvinestown.
From the proceeds of the exhibition, the ERMC will make a donation to the Northern Ireland Air Ambulance (NIAA) – their chosen charity for the year.

The exhibition will take place from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, September 17 at St. Macartin’s Cathedral Hall, Enniskillen. Refreshments will also be made available for a small donation to NIAA.
