A man facing 22 charges of making and possessing indecent images of children has been returned to the Crown Court.
Jonny Boyle (40), with an address of Church View, Cloghan, Derrylin is charged with 14 counts of making an indecent photograph or pseudo photograph of a child, five counts of possession of a prohibited image of a child and three counts of possession of an indecent photograph or pseudo photograph of a child.
All the charges relate to dates between February 1, 2020 and August 19, 2020. At a short hearing in Enniskillen Magistrates Court on Monday, a prosecution representative told the court there was prima facie case against Boyle which District Judge Steven Keown was satisfied with.
Boyle, who appeared via videolink from his solicitor’s officer, did not wish to say anything in response to the charges, give evidence, call witnesses or tender any statements at the hearing.
The case was adjourned until September 29, when Boyle is due to appear at Dungannon Crown Court.
