THE 25th anniversary of the opening of Drumcoo Centre has been celebrated at a garden party at the Enniskillen centre. The official opening of Phase One of the garden development was also marked during the well-attended event.
The Chairman of the Sperrin Lakeland Health and Social Care Trust, Richard Scott, expressed delight to be at Drumcoo to mark the two occasions.
The centre, which obtained a Charter Mark Award in 1999, opened in 1977 with eight members in attendance on the first day. Some 25 years on, the Drumcoo staff provide a service to 164 clients across the Trust area.
Mr. Scott noted that Drumcoo Centre provided day care, acted as a resource centre and encouraged people to drop in and tap into services as their needs arise.
