A kind-hearted patient of the South West Acute Hospital (SWAH) Children's Ward has donated a gift for other patients to use.
Doris Kirkpatrick, Play Nurse Specialist at the Children’s Ward, South West Acute Hospital accepted the gift of a Stickman Tonie from patient Victoria Rasdale and her mum Marianne.
Doris said: “Victoria was attending the Children’s Ward for allergy testing by Nicola the Allergy Nurse and I was able to distract her throughout the procedure with arts and crafts and toys.
"Victoria had such a positive experience as an inpatient on the ward and kindly donated this toy for other children to enjoy. Thank you Victoria and Marianne for your kind donation.”
