A town centre car park is set for a major upgrade over the next few months as part of Environmental Improvement Scheme works.
Fermanagh and Omagh District Council will commence work next Monday, September 26, at Quay Lane North Car Park, Enniskillen.
The scheme, supported through funding from the Department for Communities (DfC), will include improvements to the footways, car park, street lighting, drainage and street furniture. During completion of the works, sections of the car park will be closed in the immediate vicinity of the works.
Phase One will deal with the eastern section of the car park; during Phase Two, footpaths will be undertaken to include natural stone similar to the town centre footpaths; and the final phase of the scheme will include works to the western section of the car park.
A Council spokesperson said: “The project will be undertaken by FP McCann Ltd and will be completed in three phases to minimise disruption to residents and businesses.
“The improvement works are scheduled to be completed next February.”
